September 12, 2025

In the final week before passing the H.R.1, Congress created a $50 billion dollar fund to “transform” rural health.

In each of the next 5 years, $10 billion will flow to the states to help them implement a “rural health transformation plan” but details are scant as to how this will actually work. Join NARHC Executive Director, Nathan Baugh, and NARHC Director of Government Affairs, Sarah Hohman, on September 22nd for a discussion about RHTP implementation, including how you can help ensure that RHCs will be able to access this funding opportunity.

We are in a critical juncture in this funding process because the States will be required to develop their “transformation plan” by early November. And while State initiatives to help RHCs (directly or indirectly) are clearly a permissible use of funds, it is also possible that states leave RHCs out of this opportunity altogether.

During this webinar, not only will Nathan and Sarah will cover the latest on the RHTP, but they will touch upon the most pressing NARHC advocacy priorities for this Fall including fixing telehealth billing and reimbursement, and our three regulatory reduction bills: the Rural Behavioral Health Improvement Act, the Modernizing Rural PA and NP Utilization Act, and the Rural Health Clinic Location Modernization Act.

The next few weeks and months are critical for the RHC program. We need RHCs to make their voices heard loud and clear in both Washington D.C. and in State capitals across the country to ensure that these opportunities do not pass us by.

Register today!

Sincerely,

National Association of Rural Health Clinics
